“Happiness is a way of life made by choice. No one or nothing can take away the joy of living, not even a deadly Cancer.
Life – we all have our different meanings/ideas about it, defined by our circumstances. Ironically, stuck with various judgements and point of views, we sometimes forget to live life until it’s too late. In spite of that, everyone comes across as a person who reframes the meaning of โLifeโ and inspires us as to how to live it.
Such is the story of Pakhi , a young 26 year old beautiful girl, ambitious, entitled, pampered and rich. On the evening of receiving the youngest achiever award, from her company, Pakhi turns Mumbai into her playing turf for an entire night at the expense of a young cab driver, Durga’s mental peace. Poor Durga is compelled to drive a tipsy Pakhi all around Mumbai on her instructions. An annoyed Durga makes plenty of judgements in his mind on seeing Pakhi’s short dress, her going around Mumbai at such late hours of night, her being drunk and her lying to her dad. Durga, extremely hassled by struggles in life and hardships to survive, gets irked. His understanding of life so far, makes him conclude Pakhi is an arrogant rich brat. Hence he grumbles on every innocent act of hers – be it drinking โsadak-waliโ chai (Street side Tea) or going on the promenade alone and sitting there, or making him break signal to go to the loo as a consequence of which his license gets confiscated by police. All this adds up to his frustration, enough for him to have an outburst on Pakhi for her spoilt, entitled attitude.
