This film is a scream of tribal life, the violation of the rights and peculiarity in the working procedures of government agencies.
Katkom is the only film in Korku dialect. It reflects the socio-cultural aspects in the life of tribal castes. The paradox of agranian world of Melghat is highlighted as well. It is not an attempt of social-reformation but it throws light on the whimsical Bureaucracy and corrupt practices.”
