A discharged soldier, desperate and struggling to make ends meet, makes a failed attempt to steal from a local grocery store. Faced with prison, he accepts an alternative: becoming a subject in a radical experiment. Fitted with a mind-control device designed to ‘eliminate’ criminal behaviour, he fights to keep his sense of self, ultimately defying the system that seeks to control him.
